Conquest! Medieval Realms App Reviews

Played through tutorial, but crashing before I can finish a game in conquest mode. Ipad2. Hope this gets fixed, enjoying it as far as it will lat me play.

i emailed the devs but they said post my comments on their forum but ill do it here instead.. ive only played one game plus tutorial but the game seems solid and my suggestions are really just cosmetic. - on the main game screen the color part of the vicotry bar at the top (AI on one side, Human on the other) the bottom edge of the color bar overflows its boundary so it covers part of the tan boundary. not a big deal, it just doesn’t look professional. - all the buttons in the main display window would look better and provide more game space if they were half the size (or smaller). if the buttons were smaller more of the map would fit on the screen un-obscured. no complaints, great game! just a few suggestions to polish it up.

I havent been able to play through the tutorial yet as the game crashes every time. Im running an iPhone 4S with the latest IOS. The game is fun until it crashes, so if the developers can release a stable patch, I would recommend it.

Have yet to finish a game due to crashing and no save function. Also, not retina friendly. Graphics are simple and could have better animation.

Downloaded the game on my iPad and got through the tutorial but so far have not been able to get through an entire game! It keeps crashing......I also havent seen any sort of save feature. These crashes wouldnt be so bad if I was able to pick up off a saved game.

Cool but super glitchy, update will be solid.

I havent been able to finish a second flag without game crashing and erasing every thing! I had to restart from the beginning THREE times and still crashing! Not playing anymore! Good game otherwise.

Crashes way too often. Doesnt say progress or settings... Is this a beta test I paid for?

Simple but addictive gameplay. AI a little lackluster. Combined arms rarely necessary despite the rock, paper scissors logic. Archers usually win the day as AI does not use cavalry. Still buggy with frequent crashes. Lost all game history recently.

The interface face is now completely upside down, and wont rotate. The orientation OS the iPad is dependent on the case, or even just the Smart Cover. This is completely contrary to all of these. Was this even tested?

I purchased it for the iPhone. I have ios 5.1.1. The game is rock solid. It never has crashed. Pretty interesting strategy. Plays quickly. The recent patch added more map variety and uncluttered the interface. Great for quick battle at lunch. The only addition I would like to see is save button. It keeps running in background so you can continue playing. I highly recommend it if you like strategy games.

Ive got to say I was looking forward to the upgrade. Like UI changes, but the crashing and inability to save, and my expectations, has made me downgrade my rating to 2 stars.

Come on, we are all up for iterating buy seriously, no save? and it crashes all the time? Art is amateurish down to the panels and menus. One star is too much.

Chances are I wont play, hence the two stars. I dont know how simple this is to implement, but every developer should make sure to include this feature. I dont necessarily want to listen to the in-game music while on a 30 min subway ride. On the merits of the game itself, it gets at least 3 starts. A promising game. Adds a level of difficulty above standard risk. Didnt get that deep into the game as of yet however.

I was really looking forward to the update because of the crashing; its a fun game when you can play it. Unbelievably, it now crashes more! Iphone 4s.

Although it was frustrating to have it crash on me and restart my conquest it hasnt happened since the update and with some minor tweaks in the update this game is very addicting! Great job and thank you to whoever is responsible for listening and not only fixing but improving this game... Worth every penny

Would be fun if I could ever finish a game! Crashes sometimes after 2 turns.

I am using iOS 5.1.1 and it never crashes. Very stable. It is a great game. Pretty simple to learn but with some surprising strategic depth, considering the simple rules governing the game. Two things I would like to see in the game: 1. Multiplayer. It would be a great format for multiplayer games. 2. A real campaign mode. Currently the campaign mode is just a bunch of basically random maps that are part of a large random continent. While the game is still fun as is, it would be nice if the campaign were more like the original PC version, in which historical wars were recreated in the game. This adds much more flavor than just random maps. I love seeing the AI overextending his advance and cutting off his lines of support, sometimes destroying vast amounts of an enemys troops, though I hope at higher AI levels the AI is a little more careful against making this mistake. Especially for the price, this game brings enormous value from a highly-respected strategy game company.
